HDPE steel wire mesh reinforced PE composite pipe for oil field power plant Chemical and petrochemical PE composite pipe Pressure-resistant and anti-corrosion pipe
Product Description
1. Product introduction
steel wire mesh reinforced polyethylene (PE) composite pipe is a composite pipe composed of polyethylene as the main raw material, an inner layer formed by extrusion, an outer polyethylene layer, and a middle layer composed of a mesh skeleton layer formed by winding high-strength steel wire left and right.
Key points: Three-layer structure (inner layer PE, steel mesh skeleton layer, outer PE), the steel wire is continuously wound into a mesh, and thermoplastic plastic (PE) is the main material.
2. Product structure
Inner layer: Extruded polyethylene tubing.
Skeleton layer: High-strength steel wires are wound left and right at a specific angle (usually close to the equilibrium angle of 54.7°) to form a continuous network structure. This is the key reinforcement layer for the pipe to withstand internal pressure and ring stiffness.
Outer layer: Extruded polyethylene tube.
Bonding layer: The inner and outer surfaces of the steel mesh skeleton, as well as the interface between the inner PE layer and the outer PE layer and the steel mesh, are firmly bonded through special hot melt adhesive to form an overall composite structure.
This bonding ensures that the plastic layers work together with the steel wire skeleton, preventing delamination. The standard emphasizes that "the steel wire and the inner and outer polyethylene layers are mutually inclusive and form a whole."
3. Core features/advantages
High strength and high rigidity: The steel mesh skeleton provides strong hoop strength and axial stiffness, allowing it to withstand high internal pressure (much higher than pure PE pipes) and better resistance to external loads (such as soil pressure).
Excellent corrosion resistance: The inner and outer layers of polyethylene completely wrap the steel wire, isolating the corrosion of the steel wire from the transportation medium and the external environment, and inherits the excellent chemical corrosion resistance of plastic pipes.
Flexibility and impact resistance: The polyethylene layer gives the pipe good toughness and impact resistance.
Creep resistance: The steel wire skeleton effectively inhibits the creep deformation of polyethylene under long-term stress.
Good hydraulic performance: The inner wall is smooth, the transportation resistance is small, and it is not easy to scale.
Relatively light weight: lighter than metal pipes of the same specification, easy to transport and install.
Long life: Design life is usually up to 50 years.
4. Main application areas
1. Municipal engineering: water supply, drainage system, fire pipe network, rainwater collection system, gas transmission (need to comply with gas-specific standards)
2. Energy transportation: oil, natural gas transportation, chemical fluid transportation (media compatibility verification required)
3. Agricultural irrigation: water-saving drip irrigation system, high-pressure sprinkler irrigation system
4. Mining engineering: slurry, tailings transportation, ventilation ducts (positive pressure air supply/dust removal)
5. Special scenarios: desalination pipelines, hot spring pipelines (water temperature ≤ 60°C), power communication casings
5. Product Marking
It stipulates the marking method of pipes, which usually includes: product code (such as SRTP), nominal outer diameter, nominal pressure, standard number, etc.
6. Summary of products
The steel wire mesh reinforced polyethylene (PE) composite pipe is a three-layer composite structural pipe that uses high-strength continuous steel wire winding mesh as the reinforced skeleton, the inner and outer polyethylene layers as the anti-corrosion and wear-resistant layers, and is bonded together by hot melt adhesive.
It combines the corrosion resistance, good hydraulic performance, light weight of plastic pipes with the high strength, creep resistance, and good rigidity of metal pipes. It is mainly used for the transportation of water, gas and other fluids. It is a high-performance composite pressure pipe.
7. Installation and maintenance
Construction requirements: Professional electric fusion welding machine operation is required to avoid damage to the steel wire layer; the trench bottom is flat to prevent scratches by sharp stones.
Storage suggestions: Avoid long-term exposure to the sun, and the stacking height should not exceed 4 layers.
Low maintenance cost: no need for frequent maintenance, anti-biological adhesion, long-term use cost advantage is significant.
